How to measure your head
for your Snap & Go Wig
Measuring the crown of your head
Materials: A flexible measuring tape.
Step 1
Place one end of the measuring tape at the center of your forehead, just above your eyebrows.
Step 2
Take the measuring tape around the back of your head, making sure it is parallel with the floor.
Step 3
Bring the measuring tape back to the center of your forehead and read the measurement where the tape meets.
Ear-to-Ear Measurement
Materials: A flexible measuring tape.
Step 1
Place the measuring tape behind one ear, just above the hairline.
Step 2
Bring the measuring tape around the back of your head, making sure it sits snugly above the ears and across the forehead.
Step 3
Read the measuring tape where it meets the start/the other ear.
Note:
You may also do this with a string, measuring the string when you're done.
Measuring the nape of your neck
Materials: A flexible measuring tape.
Step 1
Stand in front of a mirror to ensure proper alignment and posture.
Step 2
Place one end of the measuring tape at the base of your neck, where your shoulders meet your neck.
Step 3
Gently pull the measuring tape around the back of your neck, keeping it parallel to the ground.
Step 4
Bring the other end of the measuring tape to the starting point and check the measurement.
Measuring the nape of your neck to the top of your ear
Materials: A flexible measuring tape.
Step 1
Start by standing or sitting up straight with your head in a natural, upright position.
Step 2
Place one end of the measuring tape at the nape of your neck, where your hairline meets the back of your neck.
Step 3
Gently guide the measuring tape up and over the top of your ear until it reaches the highest point of your ear.
Step 4
Record this measurement. You may also use a string and measure the string.
